The King’s Awards for Enterprise are the most prestigious awards for businesses, recognising and celebrating business excellence across the UK.

The recipients of the awards demonstrate outstanding success in their respective fields of innovation, international trade, sustainable development and promoting opportunity (through social mobility).

Award winners often state that their achievement has opened new doors for them in terms of securing new contracts, venturing into new markets, increasing their profile and further developing their business.

During this event, our panel - led by Dr Vikas Shah joined by several previous winners - will discuss the benefits of winning a King’s Award and outline their success since winning, as well as talking you through the application process. They will identify potential pitfalls and give you the benefit of their vast experience of writing an award-winning nomination.

They will also answer any questions you may have at the end of the session to support you on your journey to submitting an application.

If you’re thinking of applying for The King’s Award for Enterprise 2025 or preparing to apply for a future award, then this session will be invaluable. Help us to continue to put Greater Manchester on the map!

Nominations for this year open on 6 May and close on 12 September.

One more thing. We are planning a series of events to support companies who would like to apply for The King’s Awards this year. Keep checking our website for updates.
